Trimix Analyser Connector

One-page setup and day-to-day guide. Read the section in your language before the first use, then always compare the label with the analyser display before using the gas.

Important

The adapter copies readings and prints labels; it does not verify the gas. Confirm O2, He, MOD/END, date, and cylinder marking on the analyser before diving.

Required before live readings

Enable the analyser data output first.

On the analyser: Menu → Preferences → Send Data to USB → On. Some versions call it Data output. Without this step the adapter receives no readings. See the official Divesoft He/O2 manual, section 12 “Connecting to a computer”.

Quick-start guide

  1. First: enable data output. On the analyser select Menu → Preferences → Send Data to USB → On. Some versions call it Data output. Without this setting the adapter receives no readings. The exact menu is documented in the official Divesoft He/O2 manual, section 12.
  2. Join the setup Wi-Fi. Select TrimixAdapter-XXXX, enter password 12345678, then open http://192.168.4.1. XXXX is the end of the device ID.
  3. AP one-minute timeout. The setup Wi-Fi turns off after a while to save power. If it is no longer visible, restart the adapter and connect again.
  4. Pair a printer. In the Web UI, open Printer, scan for the powered-on Niimbot B1/B21, select it and save it. Pairing uses Bluetooth; setup Wi-Fi is only needed for configuration.
  5. Time and date. Connect the adapter to Wi-Fi once if you want a date on the label. Older analysers can use the optional DS3231 clock module instead. With no valid time, the label says “Today”.
  6. Print a label. After at least five seconds of stable readings, check the analysis on the analyser and pause its data output for the configured duration (3 seconds by default). This sends one label. An optional external button also prints the current valid reading when released. Do not trigger another print while one is in progress.

Duplicate-print protection: After an automatic print, the adapter waits 30 seconds by default. Let the readings appear again before pausing for another label. You can change the wait under Web UI > Print > Label Printer.

LED meaning

Purple
Setup Wi-Fi active; flashes while starting.
Green
Connected to saved Wi-Fi; briefly flashes after a successful print.
Blue
Flashing: connecting to printer. Solid: sending label data.
Yellow
Pause-before-print countdown; flashing can indicate that analyser data has stopped.
Red
Error; flashes for a recoverable connection or printing error.
Dim white
Powered on, with neither normal Wi-Fi nor the setup AP active.

If the physical LED shows the wrong colours, select the correct GRB or RGB LED order in the Web UI settings.
